This is Pastor Joseph of the Philadelphia Church. We were able to purchase a bicycle for him. The bicycle is his only means of transportation. His wife will ride on the back when she is able to go with him. He was walking about 8 to 10 miles a day to attend our meetings, and he was never late or missing.
The bicycle, with reinforced frame, cost about $120. To give that some context, the church he pastors worked together selling bananas, potatoes, etc., and giving everything they could to purchase a plot of land for a church structure. After two years, they had saved almost $200 for the land.
